How to Access Your One Access Account
- Partnership with the public library which allows CMS students to borrow 10 print or audio books (not DVDs or music CDs)
- There are no overdue fines, but users are responsible for lost book fees
- All libraries are open M-Th 10 - 8 Fri-Sat 10 – 5
- Some larger regional library branches are open on Sundays from 1 – 5 during the school year from Labor Day through Memorial Day
How to Access Your One Access Account
- Go to http://cmlibrary.org
- Click Account
- Enter Your CMS Student ID #
- Enter the Last 4 digits of your Student ID # as your PIN
- Click on Resources. With your CMS student ID number you have access to all of the 100+ online databases.

Using Google Scholar (http://scholar.google.com) - Google Scholar is a search engine which searches for physical and digital copies of scholarly articles and information. Google Scholar returns results as articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites. “Google Scholar helps you find relevant work across the world of scholarly research.” It has built in citation.

- Open a new Google Doc
- Go to Tools and select Research
- Now you have access to Google from within your Google Doc without having to open a new tab
- Enter your search terms and/or key words in the Search bar
- Hover over the website results list where you can preview, add the website link directly to your Google Drive, or cite the website in MLA7 format
- Google Research is designed to "filter out" some non-academic results you may see in regular Google
